Responsibilities
A senior Accountant is a results-oriented professional who is ready to hit the ground running and contribute to the overall efficient operation of the Finance team. This person will work across multiple business units and manage daily accounting and finance tasks across the whole organization.
Skills/Knowledge Required:

- Excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to interact with multiple levels of the organization.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to perform under deadlines.
- Manufacturing and cost accounting experience.
- Ability to quickly learn various tax and compliance regulations in new geographies as the company expands.
- Strong organization and project management skills.
- Experience with corporate finance, project finance and tax equity financing a plus.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage all aspects of the company’s accounting function, including regulatory reporting and compliance with state filings.
- Own and manage general ledger accounting functions.
- Direct all accounts payable and treasury administrations.
- Perform monthly accounting close, account analysis/reconciliation, and prepare financial packages for monthly, quarterly, and year-end analysis and management reporting.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements by consolidating foreign and local entities.
- Manage and implement accounting operations, processes, and financial policies in accordance with GAAP.
- Assistance with month-end closing, account reconciliation in accordance with GAAP, financial analysis, forecast, and tracking of company initiatives.
- Develop and maintain internal controls and financial policies and procedures.
- Partner with other departments to provide financial analysis and support.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Perform ad hoc projects, including support of management team reporting; support of financial modeling, and support of other special projects as assigned or required.
- Coordinate tax prep with our external tax accountants and annual audits of the business.
- Support the implementation of a new ERP system and FP&A software.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- CPA license required.
- Experience working for an audit firm.
- Knowledge of GAAP financial reporting requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- DOE grant reporting experience is a plus.
- Energy storage industry experience is a plus.
Preferred:
- Experience with a variety of financial software, including Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, Bill.com, QuickBooks, Adaptive Insights, PowerBI, TriNet, and Bill.com.
- Knowledge of IFRS financial reporting requirements.
